Barclays receives more country awards than any other custodian bank in the region*

For the 4th year running Barclays picked up more country awards than any other custodian bank in the region.

The results of an internationally recognised independent annual Global Custodian magazine survey of institutional investors clearly demonstrate our regional strength and commitment to the African market. This survey, now in it's 19th year is based on analysis of more than 4,227 responses from the cross-border, non-affiliated, domestic and affiliated clearing and custody clients of banks in over 60 markets.

In 2007, Barclays were awarded the following Commended Status ratings:
